Resale just got real with the launch of Kardashian Kloset by America’s royal family, the Kardashians.
According to the Kardashian clan, the site is designed to let the public shop one-of-a-kind items owned by theirs truly, all while promoting sustainability.
Kris Jenner’s had the biggest wardrobe clear-out, while the closets of Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are yet to go live (or else they already sold out and we missed it). In addition to lightly worn pieces, many items available for sale are new with tags.
So if you ever dreamed of a pair of Balenciaga thigh-high boots once owned by Kylie Jenner ($1,200) now’s your chance. Although actually, they’ve already been snapped up (all sales are final, no returns–and no international shipping either, for those of you outside the US).
And that’s why resale could prove to be a lucrative business venture for the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty–given their reach, influence and popularity (the dedicated Instagram account has racked up over 68k followers in a few days), there’ll probably always be someone out there who doesn’t mind shelling out $1,800 on a nude Balmain top and skirt once sported by Kim Kardashian, and who, more to the point, will look as good in it as Mrs Kanye West did.
